A tranquil haven in the middle of Shanghai

The building wraps around a quiet, tree shaded central Bee-Scene relaxing area where you can sit in comfortable wicker chairs and make new friends, or stretch out in the adjacent Bee-Bar in lounge chairs with a coffee or a beer, surf the Internet on one of the free terminals, or head upstairs to the terrace Bee-Quiet reading room for some chill-out time.

How to find BeeHome Hostel

If you're arriving at Pudong International Airport, walk
through to the MagLev train and take a 430kph ride at just
50rmb which delivers you just 8 minutes later to
LongYang Road station, transfer to Shanghai's really
cheap, quick and clean subway (adjacent building, and
signs/instructions are in English) to go 5 stops to
DongChang Road station for just 3rmb.

Come out of the #4 exit, cross the road and you should
be walking down Dongchang Road - look for number 490
on the left about halfway down the road (next to the pedestrian crossing), and once in this laneway you'll see the big BeeHome and YHA signs that bring you to the door.

You'll find our English-speaking staff friendly and helpful, and close by are several small eating streets where the food is tasty, hot and cheap.

And when you've had a busy day sightseeing, come back and relax in the Bee-Seen central courtyard, or move
into these comfortable chairs in the Bee-Bar with coffee, soft drinks and beer close at hand.
